Our Story

Being a mother of four I always made sure we had all sorts of spongy, delectable treats for my kids that were homemade rather than store-bought. As a trained artist I missed the long hours in the studio where I could lose myself in my work. With so many birthdays in the family, I found myself creating elaborate cakes that became more and more artistic in nature as a way to channel my creativity. Our family and guests began to take notice and encouraged me to pursue it as a full-time endeavor. After many trials and tribulations, I began honing my skills and applied them to baking. The response was overwhelming.


So it was in the year 1998 when my passion for baking and my obsession for art officially merged into what we are today; Cake Emporio.
