Who We Are
Cake Emporio is a family-owned business led by founder Isabel Valenzuela and co-owned alongside her daughter, Gabriela Valenzuela. Together, they run the bakery with the support of their incredible team, creating a warm, welcoming environment where passion and creativity come to life every day.
Isabel’s journey began long before Cake Emporio opened its doors. While in high school, she attended the prestigious Academia de Bellas Artes San Alejandro in Cuba, where she began developing her artistic foundation. She later continued her education at the Miami Art Institute, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
With a desire to share that passion with others, Isabel found her calling in cake design—transforming edible creations into meaningful works of art that bring joy to people’s most special moments. What started as a personal passion soon became a mission: to make others happy and leave a lasting, positive impact through her creations.
Cake Emporio was established in 1998, when Isabel began her journey on her own, pursuing one of her greatest joys. Over the years, her work has reached individuals far and wide, growing into something much bigger than she ever imagined.
Today, Cake Emporio is more than just a bakery—it is a place where art, community, and celebration come together. Isabel and Gabriela, alongside their dedicated team, take pride in being actively involved in the community—participating in local events and working with the City of Miami to create memorable experiences where people can gather, connect, and celebrate life’s special moments over delicious, one-of-a-kind creations.
From its humble beginnings to where it is today, Cake Emporio remains rooted in family, creativity, and a genuine love for making people feel at home.
